The world is now ever changing and adapting to a new way of business structure and is a challenge for most companies.  Exact Medical Manufacturing has had great success in its ability to adapt and overcome rather quickly this new Covid-19 World. The everyday tasks and projects are still ongoing and need to be completed, we now just need to take different steps to get to the end goal.  I once heard that “the measure of intelligence is the ability to change”, which is why EMM has done so well with navigating this pandemic and helping our customers through the process every step of the way.

As everyone knows, there has been a dramatic increase in the demand for PPE products, but EMM has not forgotten about the open custom projects that are currently in process.  Although the time frames for these projects and implementation dates have been re-evaluated in corresponding to world needs and medical necessities due to Covid-19, EMM is committed to ensuring these projects lead to fruition.

One way in which EMM has adapted to attain these new deadlines is working with customers, as companies have begun to work from home.  With the global pandemic requiring immediate action, companies where tasked with quickly transition operations around a work at home atmosphere. Once seen as a luxury, this quickly became a necessity.  Covid-19 pandemic Global Workplace Analytics have estimated 25-30% of the workforce will be working from home multiple days a week by the end of 2021 and this percentage will grow as time goes on.

This has posed a wide array of new challenges for our technical support staff and valued customers alike.  In specific, product development especially.  Extending lead times on sample prototypes, shipping to multiple addresses including homes instead of a central office locations where multiple sets of eyes can view them at once.  We have also adjusted and made it possible to set up meeting times to all hours of the day, via phone or video chat.

EMM has bluntly been able to shoulder this additional work and do our best to make the development process as seamless as possible by prioritizing your project needs and adapting to your new work environments in hopes that we can take stress away from you.  This means video meetings, extended work hours, constant status updates and doing our part to meet established timelines while maintaining the highest level of quality and integrity along the way.  For us it is simple as we look ahead to the end goal, reminding ourselves that these adverse conditions will settle down with time and a sense of normalcy will return.  Exact will continue to be your trusted partner, now and into the foreseeable future.  We are all in this together.
